About Me

Hello I'm Harriet. 32 Years old. Having always had a love for animals I spent the first 7 years of my life living in Saudi Arabia adopting a variety of different pets including cats, birds, a rabbit, hamsters, fish and a guinea pig from a very young age. Moving to the UK is where I found my love for dogs, adopting a black Labrador who was my absolute best friend until the end!  Heartbroken, a few years later, our second Labrador joined our family along with a rescue chihuahua x Bichon Frise, sadly we lost our second Labrador to cancer in 2023. My search continued in my love for dogs. In March 2024 our 2 year old Cyprus rescue, a Labrador cross joined our family. My 2 dogs are a massive part of me.

 In 2010 I qualified in level 2 city and guilds in hairdressing however, never pursued a career.   Combining my scissoring skills with my passion for animals, especially dogs. In May 2017, I qualified in Level 3 City and Guilds Dog Grooming at Bishop Burton college. I began grooming for friends and family and gained confidence within the industry. 0n 20th May 2019 my dream of owning my own business eventually came true and Picture Pawfect Professional Dog Grooming opened its doors and I have never looked back since!
